Our story began during our university days when a group of forward-thinking engineering students came together with a vision to create something bigger than ourselves. Dr. Papa Benin
CEO - Stark Energy
Dr. Papa Benin is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB) & Project Management Professional (PMP) Mechanical Engineer with 20 years’ experience of Project Development & Implementation of Crude Oil Refineries including 12 years of FPSO operations and engineering management practice.
He currently serves as the Managing Director of Stark Energy Limited and country representative of EM&IGlobal, PARLYM-France, DEC-Belgium, MANNTEK-Sweden, ELAFLEX-Germany, MARIFLEX-Netherlands, and HCP Aviation Global.
Dr. Benin worked as the Quality Assurance & Quality Control Consultant to Ghana’s National Petroleum Authority (NPA) on the Sentuo Crude Oil Refinery project.
In his previous role, Dr. Benin was the Local Manager for MODEC Ghana Operations, where he spearheaded local content strategies and served as the primary liaison with the government. He also held the position of Warranty Engineer/Manager for the Jubilee FPSO (Ghana’s first Oil production vessel) and managed the “Ready for First Oil” process for the TEN FPSO (Ghana’s second oil production vessel). In
addition, Dr. Benin worked as a Project Engineer for Tema Oil Refinery (TOR) for 7 years where he led capital improvement projects for the Refinery. He brings international experience, having worked with ABB in Sweden for 2 years where he moulded the world’s first ever electromagnetic brakes with propellers for continuous steel casters.
In Ghana’s offshore petroleum sector, Dr. Benin is credited with successfully developing practical strategies that increased the local content on the Jubilee and TEN FPSOs to meet and exceed regulatory requirements, while maintaining high standards of crew competency and platform safety. The localization model Dr. Benin developed for Ghana was successfully replicated in MODEC Ivory Coast & Senegal. In addition, in partnership with EM&I, Dr Benin led the successful introduction of diver less robotic inspection
and asset integrity technologies in Ghana’s offshore petroleum sector. Further, in partnership with NPA and Chamber of Oil Marketing Companies (COMAC), Dr. Benin led the introduction of Dry Gas Coupling into Ghana’s downstream petroleum sector to mitigate LPG related fire incidents.
He holds numerous certifications and academic qualifications. He is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB) & Project Management Professional (PMP) and an experienced HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) studies chair who specialized in downstream, midstream and upstream engineering and operations management. Dr. Benin has demonstrated track record of increasing organizational efficiency whilst reducing wastages by systematically identifying and eliminating non-value activities.
Dr. Benin earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), as well as both a BSc and MSc in Energy Engineering from Sweden. He later completed a Ph.D. in Applied Management and Decision Sciences (Management) from the United States, with a focus on Engineering Management, Leadership, and Organizational Change. In addition to his professional endeavours, Dr. Benin is a lecturer at the Regional Maritime University (RMU),
where he lectures MSc engineering and port and shipping students from various West African countries, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Gambia, Liberia, Ghana, and Sierra Leone. He also lectures Ph.D., MSc, and MPhil students at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) Institute for Oil & Gas Studies—Centre of Excellence in Petroleum, Energy Economics & Management, a program sponsored by the Ghana National Petroleum

Godwin Dogboagzi
General Manager - ACP
Godwin Doagbodzi has about 20 years work experience in diverse fields ranging from Engineering, Airline Operations to the Precast Concrete industry.
He has a first degree in BSc. Mechanical Engineering, from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK. He also holds an MBA Finance from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, Scotland, UK.
Currently, he works at African Concrete Products Ltd (ACP) as the General Manager. Until assuming this position, he was the Head of Finance in the same company.
He has in the past worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Air Liquide Ghana Ltd and became the Head of Technical in charge of the production of medical and industrial gases at the company’s factory in Tema, Ghana. He has also had some work experiences with Ghana International Airlines and was involved in Airline Operations.
He is also an Executive Council Member of Stanford Seed Transformation Network (SSTN), Ghana and has been the Treasurer since January 2023. SSTN is a group of over 100 local businesses that have gone through a transformation training program at the Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED). This training is executed in partnership with Stanford University, USA and is intended to help equip local businesses to scale up.
Godiwn Doagbodzi also manages a company called Andreol Ltd which used to provide Accounting Services but has now diversified and added to its portfolio Construction and the Supply of Goods & Services.
He has also established and manages a non-profit organization called Naekol Foundation that provides financial support to brilliant but financially challenged students and pupils in some educational institutions in his home country, Ghana.

Ralph Amissah
RACAD Engineering- UK
Ralph Amissah is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and passionate Property Developer with a unique blend of technical expertise and entrepreneurial spirit. He graduated at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana with a BSc. (Mechanical Engineering in 2003) and at Loughborough University, UK (MSc. Mechanical Building Services Engineering in 2007). He is a Chartered Engineer (MCIBSE) with the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and Currently engaged in preparations for the U.S. Professional Engineer (PE) License.
He has a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and over a 18 years of experience across diverse sectors—including defence, healthcare, transport, and high-rise developments, he bring a solutions-driven mindset to every project he touches. Whether it’s designing high-performance HVAC systems or revitalizing undervalued properties, he thrives on creating value through smart, sustainable designs.
Project knowledge and experience span a wide range of sectors in HVAC in the building and the built environments; in design and implementation in Defence infrastructure, British Transport Police Stations, Energy-from-Waste facilities, Mixed-use high-rise buildings, Railway Infrastructure Projects and Healthcare Systems. His work reflects a blend of technical rigor, sustainability focus, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
His passions and hobbies span into being an Educated Property Developer with hands-on experience in buying, refurbishing, renting, refinance and property flipping strategies for capital growth. He is active in the UK real estate space, now expanding into the U.S. markets. He is enthusiastic about real estate acquisition, renovation, and creating value-driven developments, merging engineering expertise with property development to drive efficient, high-performance buildings.

Samuel Oye
Director - Ancillary Services Ltd
Samuel Oye is a Co-Director/Projects Manager of Medical Equipment and Ancillary Services Ltd. His experience in the Medical Engineering sector spans over two decades and is well adept in healthcare technology assessment, design of healthcare facilities, medical equipment selection and planning, hospital project management, medical equipment installation and maintenance and general after sales support.
Samuel Oye possesses /BSc. in Mechanical Engineering and MBA (Finance) from KNUST, Ghana. He also has a certificate of professional development with TAHPI in Health Facility Planning.
Samuel Oye is also a partner in another establishment, Healthineer Consults, a joint venture that strategically places specialized medical equipment in medical facilities to facilitate medical care accessibility nationwide.
He has previously worked with Hospital Engineering Ltd (6 years) as a Field Service Engineer responsible for planning, installation and after sales support of a section of the medical engineering sector such as medical gas systems, sterilization and infection control, etc.
He also worked with Mediwise International Company Ltd (8 years) as management team member and field service supervisor responsible for developing, planning and execution of hospital projects.
